# Attach parent post to existing thread afterwards

Hi,

is it possible to attach a parent post to an existing thread, so that the interruption of a thread caused by a user who erroneously has answered to a discussion in a parent post can be healed (by the user himself or the team admin)?

If it’s not possible, this would be a great feature, wouldn’t it?

Interesting feature. Can I double confirm if you are referring to the thread and parent post of Mattermost app itself or the functionality of this forum?
