# Can not download attachment on Mobile App

**Summary**  
When pressing download a file on mattermost android app, instead of a screen for location to save file but a screen to share file

**Steps to reproduce**  
Press download any file on mobile app

**Expected behavior**  
After pressing download, app show screen to save file on mobile

**More info**

- mattermost server 5.37, postgres db
- android 9, mattermost app: 1.47

yes, currently we rely on whatever the OS can share it with, on Android there does not seem a way to save the file as there is with iOS
