Collapsable link previews

When a user posts a link in chat Mattermost helpfully expands the link to provide additional content, including the site title, a short summary, and an image. Individual users can collapse the image (if one exists), but not the entire preview. As only the user who posts the link can delete the preview, it would be nice if any user could collapse the preview in its entirety once they’re seen the preview.

Thanks for your feedback,

I’ve tested on our nightly build server running off the latest master and I can collapse the preview to show just the link that the person posted so this will be availble in v4.10 releasing on May 16th.

If you’d like to sign up to the above server and test it out to confirm it’s what you’re looking for, that would be great! :slight_smile:
