# Feature Idea: Prune/reset/clear the contents of a specific channel

So, our team just started today playing with Mattermost to evaluate if it can replace or complement our internal communications tools, and one of the first things I looked for was a way to prune/reset/clear the contents of a Channel.

Does such a possibility exists ?

Hi @trexmaster,

The team admin should be able to delete the posts of other users. There isn’t currently a way to prune/reset/clear channels. Please consider [filing a feature idea](http://mattermost.uservoice.com/forums/306457-general) so it can be upvoted?
