HipChat and Slack both seem to have a media library for the channel/group. Is the option available in Mattermost? I saw [JIRA ticket](https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/PLT-543) about this… but it seems it was closed since it is in the elastic search spec? Not sure how to search for media in a channel though…

Hi @marcchang,

That ticket was only to write up how it would work and look. We still plan to add that feature, but we haven’t set a definite timeline for it yet. If you’d like to show your support for it, you can vote [on the feature request](https://mattermost.uservoice.com/forums/306457-general/suggestions/17367361-history-of-shared-files-in-a-channel) to help us prioritize the features that our community wants most.
