# Migrating PostgreSQL to MySQL

Has anyone successfully migrated the Mattermost database from postgresql to mysql? My current Mattermost setup is running on postgresql and I like the idea of switching to a bitnami VM, which uses mysql. If anyone has any tips on this I’d much appreciate it.
