I wanted to make a comment on your Markdown announcement but making a new topic for it seemed like overkill.
Thanks @erlend_sh, appreciate the idea, we’re a little skittish about using a plug-in that’s not in the official Wordpress plug-in directory.
That said, we should certainly be cross-posting blog announcements here.

[/quote]Heh, understandable. That being said, the plugin is officially supported (it’s maintained in the main github.com/discourse/ org) and is being used in production by the Discourse team themselves, as well many others, myself included.

Highly appreciate the feedback and letting us know about it. We agree with you that it’s something important to have, I think it’s a matter of when, not if.
