Is there some setting in Mattermost 1.0 to preview URLs, similar to what Slack does today? For example, if I paste [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com), it’d be great to show a bit of the headline from that page. Thanks.

We currently don’t offer the option to show previews for URLs, but I think that makes a lot of sense. I opened a feature suggestion [here](http://mattermost.uservoice.com/forums/306457-general/suggestions/10146165-add-inline-url-previews) where the community can go and upvote and comment on this feature.

It is possible to manually add inline images with [Markdown](http://docs.mattermost.org/usage/Markdown/index.html#in-line-images), but I can see how having auto-generated text previews for URLs would be useful.
