In the repo it mentions you should deploy with apk instead of the app store-- is there a reason for this?
Open to feedback here, the thought was we were looking for a self-hosted option for distributing Android apps.
In the early releases the community raised concerns about too many teams pushing their Android apps to the public Google Play store and causing confusion.
There’s Google Play Private Channels as a hosted option, but Google has a statement of “Google Play does not allow duplicate applications in the store.” and we weren’t clear on how that works.
