# Remove / Disable 'Show More' / Collapsed Thread functionality

I’d like to be able to remove the “Show More” / “Show Less” functionality on my Mattermost server.

**Here’s what it looks like on desktop client (web):**

Is this possible?

**Steps to reproduce**  
If you want to reproduce:

- Step 1: Write a long text
- Step 2: Observe how it get’s automatically truncated / “compressed”.
- Users now have to press an arrow to read the message in it’s entirety.

**Expected behavior:**  
I’d like to be able to either disable this for everyone, or define a higher limit for when long messages gets truncated.
