# Set rules for usernames

HI I am new to Mattermost and trying to set it up for my team to use. I would like to be able to set a rule on how the username is created. Specifically first.last name. is there something like this or a way to achieve this?

Yeah…!!!

That would be nice. Or the ability for the admin to change the user names from the team mates…
