mattermost is really great! I have been playing around for it a while now and I really like it.
But there’s one thing I just don’t get…
Why do I have to set for every team a passwort again?
Can I change this? Is there a bigger meaning behind it?

In Mattermost, your account is specific to each Team that you join - this lets you present yourself different on different teams, with different usernames/nicknames, photos, etc. This is because on some teams you may be a regular member, or a watcher, while on other teams you may be a core member or an administrator.
The best way to support a different “profile” for each team is to have each team actually be a different account.
