Are you using MySQL or MariaDB? MariaDB is not supported, and support for MySQL is being deprecated. I’d check the database logs for additional clues, and start to plan a migration to Postgres ASAP. Migration guidelines from MySQL to PostgreSQL - Mattermost documentation
