Based on the Searching documentation that we have here, it is mentioned:

  • IP addresses, for example 10.100.200.101 , do not return results.

Suggested Solution

Improve the search functionality to allow the search for IP address

Workaround

Pin / flag the message that contains the IP address for future reference
