In the Mattermost Mobile App v2.45 (October 2026 release), Mattermost will stop supporting iOS v17 and earlier and Android v10 and earlier. Users should update to iOS v18 or Android v11 or newer before the v2.45 release.
What does this mean for users on older OS versions?
Devices running iOS 17 or earlier, or Android 10 or earlier, will no longer receive new versions of the Mattermost Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play. The currently installed version will keep working, but it will not receive further updates, including security fixes. Update to iOS 18 or Android 11 or newer to continue receiving app updates.
When does this take effect?
Mattermost Mobile App v2.45, releasing in October 2026 alongside Mattermost Server v12.0.
