For some of our customers using both MS Teams and Mattermost is a given, but that does create a silo between members that exclusively use these platforms.
The MS Teams integration helps to bridge that gap by acting as a central hub to receive Direct message and group message notifications directly within Mattermost.
Connecting your MS Teams account
Once configured, any users of your organisation can connect their MS Teams account to their Mattermost account, they can do that by using the /msteams connect command.
Enabling notifications
Once connected, the user gets an option to Enable notifications.
Start receiving notifications
Once enabled, the user starts receiving notifications and they can click on the link above the message to directly go to MS Teams to respond to them.
Notification settings
They also have the ability to disable these notifications.
