sorry for the long turnaround, I didn’t get to trying that out earlier.
I did install a 7.1.2 teams edition, set up mailing and invited my gmail account, this is what the invite mail looked like on gmail:
And this is the mail I got when trying to reset my password:
Do you maybe have an adblocker or something like this active on your system? Can you reproduce this problem with a different browser or a different gmail account?

Many clients in our gmail organization have this problem, I’m talking to a company that provides mailing services and they suggested changing the Content-Transfer-Encoding:
from quoted-printable to base64, is there such a possibility in mattermost?
Not sure if this will really help - maybe your gmail organization has special settings configured which cause these problems; Do you have a gmail account outside your organization, a private one, f.ex.? If so, would it be possible to either forward one of the mails there (but they might already be broken at this point) or get mattermost to directly send an e-mail to a gmail address outside your organization? maybe some spam filters or other milters are causing this behaviour.
I’m not aware of changing the headers directly in Mattermost, there’s not really a configuration option to do so and the mail handling is done by Go libraries which probably cannot be influenced in that way, but if you managed to get a working mail in source, you can always resend that from your client or any server after making modifications to see where it stops breaking.
Is your mattermost installation relaying all mail through smtp.send-box.ru? Maybe this SMTP server adds some additional headers or does something with the mails which would result in this behaviour.
I must admit I’m a bit lost on that, would it be OK if I try to register your e-mail address krhamtsov.ilya@gmail.com on one of my demo installations so you can check the mails there? I will send you the initial invite mail and once you signed up, you can click on “forget password” then to see if you will receive the mail from there without issues so we can further narrow this problem down.
