Hi support,
Good day. I’m currently testing on implementing SSO feature using G Suite / Google Apps to sign in to Mattermost, but failed. I’m not really sure what are the steps missing, I actually tried the steps provided here:
https://docs.mattermost.com/deployment/sso-google.html
Can you please help me?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Kong

Hi @kongyc ,
Thanks for your question…
Could you tell us which version of Mattermost you have installed? You can find the latest version here
If you already have the latest version installed, could you tell us a little more about the environment you’re testing in?
Thanks!

Hi Lindy,
I’ve tried on both Mattermost Team Edition and Enterprise Edition (but not E20), both not working.
What are the information that you need for the environment? I’m installing in CentOS 7.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Kong

Thanks for your response @kongyc ,
Ah, I see what the problem is… SSO feature is an E20 feature so it won’t work unless you have a licence installed.
Perhaps your organisation would like to request a trial licence so you can try implementing the G Suite SSO?
Let me know if that helps?

Hi Lindy,
It’s ok, we will just continue using the Mattermost Team Edition, as E20 is out of our budget.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Kong
