IS there a way to set up notifications for boards changes? or any time a note is added? or when the task is assigned to someone?
- Users can click the “Follow” button on each Card to get notifications on Card changes.
- You can also ping users directly with
@usernamewhen you add a comment to a Card.

I click the “Follow” button, but no notificactions appear at my inbox. I know that the email notificactions are set up, because the channel notifications by e-mail works as spected.
Do I need another extra configuration?

Hi @amy.blais. Recently we have started to use Mattermost Boards integration in our team. I think this is a major error that needs to be fixed:
There is currently no notification when someone is assigned a task. This makes it incredibly easy to miss responsibilities, causes confusion, and defeats the purpose of assigning tasks in the first place.
At the very least, users should receive a direct message or in-app alert when a task is assigned to them. Without that, accountability and team coordination suffer.
Please let us know if this is something being worked on, or if there is a workaround in the meantime.
