I have a working 10.12 Team edition. I wanted to learn more about Enterprise features and clicked on on a button ‘Upgrade to Enterprise” thinking this will redirect me to Enterprise web page. Unfortunately this “click” upgraded my version to Enterprise Free edition.
Is there a way to revert back to Team edition? If I stay with Enterp Free will I loose my Playbooks and Boards after 10 days?
I’m a bit surprised, because according to the docs and my experience it shouldn’t be possible in Team Edition to change to Enterprise Edition per one click.
Apart from that, you could use Enterprise Edition without a paid subscription/license as we are doing in my company. The main difference is Open Source vs. Commercial source code. And if we were ever to get a license, we won’t have to install Enterprise over Team Edition before we could upload the license file to unlock enterprise features.
What do you mean by that? Do you have a 10 days trial license right now? Then you could remove it in the System Console before the trial ends, if you want to.
Regarding Playbooks: since the major version v11 Playbooks are an enterprise-only feature anyway.
Your Boards data shouldn’t be affected in my experience.
I don’t mind using Free enterp. edition but I’m afraid other community plugins may stop working at some point and I will have to reinstall back to Team edition.
I have not installed any licenses. I was afraid they pushed it automatically when I clicked on upgrade to enterp. Just wondering if I will still be able to upgrade/update once new Team Edition version is available.
Currently, I’m using the Free Plan of the Enterprise version. However, when I upgrade to v11-RC, it immediately changes to the Entry version with limited message history. Is there any way to downgrade to the Teams Version?
