Dist upgrade from Jessie to stretch

We are running mattermost servers on Debian Jessie(8) and we would like to upgrade to Debian Stretch(9).

Has anyone tried dist upgrade from Debian Jessie to Stretch? or let me know which is the best way of doing it?
