New user can not open anything

Summary
Invite a user (webmaster@domain.com) & get the invite link. User opens the link and adds their email/name/pass and that works. Once they login all they can see is “No teams are available to join. Please ask your administrator for an invite.”

In the admin section there is a team named “motionview” and the team setting is “Anyone Can Join”. Clicking on the team shows the anyone can join toggle on and the only specific domains toggle off. The list of Members at the bottom is my account and the webmaster account. Click on the user and go to the User Configuration shows “motionview” in the Team Membership panel with a role of “Team Member”.

So the question is this, if everything says the email address (user) is part of the team, why is it after a successful login the page just changes to “No teams are available to join. Please ask your administrator for an invite.”

Expected behavior
Open the app with the channels

Observed behavior
Just an error

This can be deleted. I deleted everything and started over with docker instead of a native install since this was completely un-usable and not a single person had any thoughts or time to post.
