Where to install integrations?

So I´m new to MatterMost and wonder what the best practice is when it comes to adding integrations.
Slack has a web interface to handle it but when it comes to MatterMost it seems to be more to the core…

Should I setup a separate instance for integrations? Or just install it on the same instance as the plattform installation?
