When receiving an image you can only look at it at a single scaling and not zoom in (read: pinch to zoom).
Yes, downloading an image and using the phone’s own image viewer is possible, but not really lightweight.

No, GitLab SSO is not yet available in the new react native Android app. It’s a work in progress with weekly updates.
