Bulk import private messages with existing users

I’m using the latest Hipmost version to sucessfully create a valid .jsonl file to be used with the bulk import tool
When validating, it is successful. When applying, i’m encountering an issue with a “users_email_key” violation since the email address/user already exists.

Since our users are currently using Mattermost and it’s not possible to delete their current account, is there a flag i’m missing to merge this data?

Hi @ylluminarious, would you know if there is way in HipMost to ensure that users migrated from HipMost get merged into existing users in Mattermost, or does this sound like an issue on the Mattermost side?
