We have a working mattermost hosted by out own Gitlab CE docker image.

When typing “i also created #7” in a mattermost message, I get the following in the chat
If i click the “Sign in” link I am taken to the gitlab issue page to the relevant issue.
How do I set up mattermost and gitlab to display a summary of the issue instead of the “Sign in” box?

I’m having the same issue but we’re hosting Mattermost and Gitlab separate servers.
Gitlab version: v16.8.1
Mattermost version: 9.2

Are you using GitLab Plugin - Mattermost and following the docs there?
Already setup the integration. We get the notifications and have integration visible. Do you know if the issue preview should be available when we post a link to it? Or any Gitlab preview for that matter such as a Merge Request?
