So I’m pretty new to using Mattermost and I really liked it and had a great experience till now. And I’ve installed and configured the GitHub bot plugins. And my question is:
How to make this bot instead of messaging just me as a DM to post messages in a general group channel for all the developers can see that?

Based on the information provided on the page itself:
Events notifications are via DM in Mattermost.
Perhaps you can raise this up as a suggestion to make the event notifications are also able to be sent on the public / private channels as well on the plugin issue page itself for direct visibility by the developers so that they are aware of this and can share their input on the feasibility of this feature.
