Images not loading in desktop app after latest update

Steps to reproduce

Using Mattermost Desktop App v5.7.0 on Windows 11

Logged into self-hosted Mattermost server (v9.5)

Uploaded images in a channel

Other users can see them, but I see a broken image icon

Expected behavior
Uploaded images should display normally in the chat window

Observed behavior
Images appear as broken or missing. No preview, just the broken image icon. Works fine in the browser, only broken in the desktop app. No error message shown.

9.5 is pretty old. I’d highly recommend updating to 9.11 and then 10.5 Release Policy - Mattermost documentation

5.7 is not supported for 9.5… see Desktop Releases - Mattermost documentation 5.8, 5.9, and 5.10 would probably resolve this.
