Moving from Entry Edition back to Team Edition

Hi all. I’ve been using Mattermost for many years. I recently moved my MM instance from an internal virtual machine to an external VPS.

I logged in today and got a message about breaking a 10k message barrier for the first time. I looked closely and saw that my old server is Free Edition and my new server is Entry Edition. I have no idea how I made that switch but I apparently did when I migrated.

I searched but I don’t see any info about changing back. I also don’t see any distinction between versions in the Ubuntu install process, so I have no idea how to fix this. Or if I even can.

Has anyone dealt with this before that can offer advice? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just saw the Entry Edition news from October 6th:

So I guess the real question is how do I move back to Team edition from Entry edition?

If you’re running it from the maintained repos you might be out of luck. If you’re downloading it from the site, you can get -teams binaries in the “other versions” tab - though I expect they’ll be burying it deeper soon.

I am back to the Team edition!
