When did Android began using Linux? I had a location error & it showed the location as Linux instead of Android. Should this be expected since they have an O. S. relationship? Do I need to check into this further? Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, I just stumbled upon your posting here. Android always was built on top of Linux, so this is no news actually
