Hi,
we aren’t able to send .jpg or .pdf files on our Mattermost server, any other files (tested with .png, text and svg) can be send.
We using the Mattermost Team Edition on version 5.37.0. We were able to sent all different types of files in the past. In the last week we had to renew the SSL certificate on the domain on which the sever is running. In the settings we dont use any option for using TSL or something different and the url is working since we can use it normally besides the jpg and pdf problem. Also the connection to the file server is working.
If I want to upload a new profile image I get the following error: fetch_etag.ts:39 POST https://chat.xxxx.de/api/v4/users/1ikocr7rhjbtif8jbgfra617ar/image 500 (Internal Server Error)
If I want to send a jpg file to someone else on Mattermost I get the following error: client.js:839 POST https://chat.maze.de/api/v4/files 500 (Internal Server Error)
Does anybody know what’s going on? Thanks in advance.
edit: After a few test I can tell it’s not depending on the file type. Some png could be uploaded some not
edit2: There aren’t any logs in the server log if I want to upload the image.
