Android beta application without the playstore

Hello,

I wanted to know if it was possible to have the beta version of the mattermost application for android without going through the playstore.

I’m a degoogled smartphone user and I think it’s a shame not to be able to benefit from this beta (especially the option to connect to several servers). It goes against the main goal of mattermost to free us from proprietary services.

Hi McFly and welcome to the Mattermost forums!

You can compile it on your own (mattermost-mobile/android at gekidou · mattermost/mattermost-mobile · GitHub), but I’m going to check if there are nightly or at least semi-regular offline builds available and will let you know once I have this information!
