Android phone wont connect to server

I just installed the mattermost app from the website. when ever I type in the server name I get this message

Only happens whith my galaxy s7, tried the app on the wifes iPhone as test and it worked. any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I’m not quite sure why the app would work on iPhone but not on Android. Have you perhaps tried using http:// instead of https:// in the server name?
