Is there a way to have a language selector on the landing/login page?
When providing a public service, not everyone speaks English, e.g., so it would be nice to have a feature like this one, instead the admin choosing a default/static language.
That way users could change the landing/login page text to their language if the language is supported by Mattermost.

right now, this is not possible, you can only manually specify the default language for the clients as you already know. You could place this wish at Mattermost’s Uservoice page, I just checked there and such a request does not seem to have been posted already.
