Linux app do not connect

Summary
I connect with Firefox and android app, but not with linux app

Steps to reproduce
define server with invitation link. The link is properly stripped to the server name, I give name and passwd and get:

Équipe introuvable

L’équipe que vous avez demandée est privée ou n’existe pas. Veuillez contacter un administrateur pour recevoir une invitation

(in english: unavailable team, the team you ask for is private or unavailable, ask for invitation)

Expected behavior

connect to center town

Observed behavior
In fact I was never asked for a team. of course I’m already member of at least a public team.

Client is on openSUSE Tubleweed, serveur mattermost by yunohost

the server It’s me the admin (but I don’t see how to access mattemost CLI)

thanks

Sounds like the configured server url contains a team name, could you check that one more time?

Another trick may be to reload without cache. On Windows it’s Strg+Shift+R, I’m not sure about Linux.

Or you can try to rename/remove the user-specific Mattermost folder. On Windows, it’s %appdata%\Mattermost

Lastly you can try a clean reinstall

here is the invitation link:

https://culte-linux.no.me/mattermost/signup_user_complete/?id=311w86ezb7b6888g4ue9uz3n8a

looks like I found a trick. The above link do not work. Depending on the app involved, when I paste it in the “create server” field, even it strips itself to https://culte-linux.no.me/mattermost/ whether I do it manually and anyway don’t works.

Then I noticed I had (from a connected session) an url:

https://culte-linux.no.me/mattermost/mattermost-du-culte/channels/town-square

when I paste it in the form, it complains that the link is wrong, but if I continue anyway it connects.

so far so good, but this may be also because I was already connected from an other interface. Will see.

(I don’t expect theses links to work for you just for reference)

thanks
