Since ~14/12/2022, no window is opening when I start the mattermost desktop app on my Mac (MacOs Big Sur 11.6). I find no way to open a window. My version of Mattermost is 5.2.2. [Screenshot 2022-12-19 at 15.51.57]

Hi @outfiteleven and welcome to the Mattermost forums! I’m unsure about the reasons and ways to work around this since I’m not running OSX here and cannot reproduce the problem, but I’ve alerted the developers about that already in the hopes that they’ll be able to jump on that issue ASAP.

I deleted the App Store version and downloaded the * M1 systems (Beta) version instead, and it works fine at the moment. Maybe it’s an Apple silicon compatibility problem? The problem is (unfortunately again) related to the Appstore build - using the DMG version usually works better these days, but that’s something Mattermost needs to fix and I’m posting about this issues regularly in the community forums, will see if I can get some traction on it.

Can someone please share the logs of the appstore build after you reproduced the issue?

Since today (8th May), I have experienced the same issue with Mattermost 5.3.1. My workaround is to use Mattermost in my browser.
