Thank you. That’s what we did. Another machine just had the same problem this morning after we restarted it. It’s embarrassing to say the least.
The new version (5.4) should be released in the next few days, let’s hope that this problem is finally fixed by it.
@agriesser I just updated to Mattermost Desktop 5.4, and the client is working again! Thank you very much!
Thanks for confirming that the latest release fixes this issue - I’m going to mark this topic as resolved now.
I’ve also updated to 5.4, restarted my machine, deleted and reinstalled the app, yet still no windows. Any idea’s on how to fix it?
I have the App Store version btw.

Hi Thomas and welcome to the Mattermost forums!
Although this issue should have been fixed with 5.4.0, it seems that it isn’t
Please watch this thread, I’ve asked one of the developers for help there:
The problem reappears in the Appstore version 5.10.2 on M2 Mac.
No GUI is shown, no Windows will open.
Any news on the solution?
I delete the App and deleted the ~/Library/Containers/Mattermost/` folder
and reinstalled the App via Appstore … but no luck.
No Window will open - not even a config window to re-setup the Server Info - nothing.
