Movies click twice to watch?

When watching a movie, the user needs to click on the movie thumbnail(picture 1) and then he is greet by a click to download icon(picture 2). only afterwards he is able to watch the video.

If he already clicked the movie icon doesn’t it mean he wants to watch the video?

So why is he required to click another button (download) ?

I suggest to download if the video is not in the cache as soon as the user clicks the video thumbnail.

I believe it’s a better user experience.

I agree. A more pro looking player for movies in the message screen would be great but its a lot more work than what Im suggesting.

Maybe do it in two steps?
