Summary

I send a message to someone or read a message from someone, then switch to another application - when they send me an answer, I do not get notified (but I do get notified in any other conversation).

Steps to reproduce

Mattermost 5.29.0
MacOS Catalina

Expected behavior

I would like to not miss messages. Perhaps there is a way to get notifications for the active conversation if the Mattermost window does not have focus. Or maybe if I don’t react to the message within X time? Any workable solution to the problem is fine.

Observed behavior

No behaviour observed, which is the problem - there should be some way to know a message has arrived.

It might be, but I’m not locking the computer, so I’m not sure if it’s really the same…
