One Channel notifications change overrides all Channel notifications

Summary

I’d like to set individual channel notifications on Mattermost Team edition - however changing the notifications on eg. off-topic to ‘never’ will also change them for all other channels

Steps to reproduce

Windows Desktop App 3.7.1
Mattermost Server 4.5.0

  1. change notification settings in channel A to ‘Never’
  2. checking notifcation settings in any other channel will also display ‘Never’. Changing them to eg. ‘for all activity’
  3. check channel A notifications again will now display ‘for all activity’

Expected behavior

individual channels should only show the respective notification settings

We recommend updating to the latest Mattermost server version as well as the latest Desktop App which has recently been released.

Thanks lindy, we’ll try that and report back if it resolves this issue (ran into some other problems during upgrading that we’ll need to solve first though ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
