Summary
We are trying to prevent users from using @channel notifications.
There is an option to do this on a per-channel basis in the system console.
Removing this for a channel does not seem to have any effect.
There is also an option to remove this right from all users in the system console (permissions - edit scheme). Doing this also does not seem to have any effect even if the user logs out and in again.
In summary: it seems the options to control this exist, but somehow has no effect.
Steps to reproduce
Using 10.7.1 (self hosted) Professional.
