i’d like to adopt a slack-like solution for my users, mattermost is definitely very interesting, but i’m wondering if and how i can integrate slack apps from slack’s directory ( Add Apps to Slack | Apps and Integrations | Slack App Directory ). thank you

We currently don’t support any apps from slack’s directory. You can open a feature request if that’s something you would like us to look into.
