[SOLVED] Implement Mobile Client Upload/Download Files

Client iOS version 1.5.2.

Mattermost web already supports upload and download files.

The mobile clients also need this feature. high priority.

I’ve created a feature request. please vote.

Thanks for the feedback and feature request,

I’m sure you should be able to upload files by clicking the + in the message input box? You’ll need to give the app permissions to access your camera, files, pictures, etc

You can add pictures but not files at this stage. that is a must have feature.

iOS client version 1.7 is out but I don’t see the new features.

Did something go wrong with the deployment?

It seems the app version change log is incorrect.
It says upload files was implemented.

@RbDev - when you say uploading files, do you mean uploading from the Files app in iOS 11?

If so, we have a ticket here to add support for it and I believe it’s queued to be worked on soon: https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-10297
