As I wait for our server admin on a few things as we plan a Slack-to-Mattermost migration, I’m curious about what our members see. Forgive me if this is in documentation somewhere, if it’s there I breezed right by it.
How is login information set up in the new instance from an imported account? Are passwords transferred? Is the user notified in any way by the Mattermost system?
Do we need to say “Join us at our new space. You’ll use the same email or username but need to reset the password” or whatever the procedure may be?
