Hi Mattermost Community, I am Emmanuel Katto.

I’ve been experiencing some message formatting issues in our Mattermost instance. Specifically, I’ve noticed that:

  • Some Markdown formatting (like code blocks and lists) isn't rendering correctly for certain users.

  • Links inserted in the messages appear but don't behave as expected (e.g., they don’t turn into clickable links).

I’ve checked our settings and made sure everyone is using the latest version, but the issues persist.

Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Are there specific settings or configurations I should look into?
