We recently updated to version 5.0.2 of the Mattermost Client and are no longer getting Sound notifications

Hello,

We recently updated to version 5.0.2 of the Mattermost Client and are no longer getting Sound notifications.

I still get flashes and red circle on the icon and toast, but no longer getting any sound notrifications. This is happening on all systems in our environment, they are on windows 10.

I have already checked all notification settings i can find in
Mattermost settings
Disabled focus assist
and made sure the settings in notifications and actions center for mattermost are on.

Other apps are making sounds, like outlook, just not mattermost.

Are notifications enabled for Mattermost in the OS?

in the notifications and action center of windows it is, is that what you mean?
Also focus assist is turned off.

A few other questions:

1. Does the browser have notifications with sound?
2. Are there any errors in the developer console?
3. Are you sending messages to yourself?
4. Are you actively looking at the channel where the message is coming?

   I do not see any errors in the developer tool for the wrapper nor the tab.

3. Are you sending messages to yourself?
   Sending messages too and from others, not myself

4. Are you actively looking at the channel where the message is coming?
   No I have been testing with not looking at it directly.

Are there any other things that we can try? we have also tried reinstalling and removing the cache for mattermost and still unable to get notification sounds
