Hey, I encountered this too, the fix seem to be (at the moment), File –> Settings –> Disable/Uncheck “Synchronize Desktop App theme with server” That should reset it back to the dark / mode setup in the app.

I don’t understand what that setting is supposed to do anyway. There are no server-side theme settings as far as I can see. Or am I missing something? Edit: Oh I see now that it’s probably referring to the profile settings at the top right.

Thanks, that seems to be a good temporary workaround.

Hopefully Mattermost fixes the themes, though.
