If you use the Mattermost open source code you can control everything in the product, including changing any settings, and changing the user limits. Just curious, what’s the use case where you need more than 250 users?

Sure. Do You know where to change which parameter(s)? At the moment we are around 400 people privately connected. not all active all the time. but whe I would move to V11 I would have to get rid of one third.

The limits are in server/channels/app/limits.go. There is also a fork maintained by Framasoft called Mostlymatter but that has not been updated to v11 yet.
