The good news about Mattermost is that there is a lot of power and choice around how notifications can be configured.
This includes configuring mobile, desktop, email and browser notifications, triggering on mentions, keywords, having persistent notifications, muting notifications and many other features built to optimize the user experience.
On the other hand, if how you want notifications to show up is different than the choices you made in different user interfaces settings, then users can feel like they’ve “missed” notifications they needed to receive.
To make sure notifications are functioning they way you want start with:
How to article
- Summary article on Notifications in Mattermost as a quick how-to guide to the most common uses of notifications.
Documentation
-
