I would like to know how to open a specific mattermost channel in the desktop app via url. I know the command “mattermost:” but it’s just open the main channel in the desktop app.

I’m not sure if this is possible, but you could use the Ctrl + K shortcut to quickly switch to a specific channel. More information about shortcuts here: https://docs.mattermost.com/help/messaging/keyboard-shortcuts.html.
I use the Windows desktop app. I “copy link” to a message in a particular channel. When I click this link in Chrome, I’d like Windows desktop app to open the channel and go to the message instead of a new tab in Chrome.
Is it something that’s possible to configure now or should I submit a feature request?
